NervoMax Vitamin B6: Why Does the Missing Amount Matter?
NervoMax vitamin B6 is listed sixth in the 600 mg blend as Vitamin B6 (as Pyridoxine), and the amount is not printed. A little B6 supports nerves, but too much can cause numbness and tingling. The U.S. upper limit is 100 mg a day. Add up your other B6 products and ask your doctor.

Key facts
What are the key facts about NervoMax vitamin B6?
- The label reads Vitamin B6 (as Pyridoxine), sixth in the 600 mg blend per 2 capsules.
- The B6 amount is not printed.
- Adults need 1.3 mg a day up to age 50, then 1.7 mg for men and 1.5 mg for women.
- The U.S. upper limit is 100 mg a day. The EU set 12 mg in 2023. Australia requires a label warning above 10 mg.
- Too much B6 can itself cause numbness and tingling, the same symptoms the product is sold for.
- Count B6 from every supplement you take: B-complex, multivitamin, magnesium tablets and others.
- Ask the order desk for the B6 amount per serving in writing. No number means unknown.
Plain words
Why does NervoMax vitamin B6 need a closer look?
NervoMax vitamin B6 is the ingredient where the missing number matters most.
Vitamin B6 helps run more than 100 enzyme reactions, including ones that make the chemical messengers nerves use. You need only a small amount. Most U.S. adults get enough from fish, poultry, potatoes, chickpeas, bananas and fortified cereals.
The twist is simple. A little supports nerves. A lot, taken for months, can harm the same nerves. So the amount matters more for B6 than for almost any other vitamin, and the NervoMax label prints no amount for it.
Safe limits
How much vitamin B6 is too much?
Adults need 1.3 mg a day up to age 50, then 1.7 mg for men and 1.5 mg for women. The limits sit far higher.
- United States. The upper limit is 100 mg a day.
- European Union. In 2023 the EU set 12 mg, after newer reports showed nerve problems well under 100 mg.
- Australia. A label warning is required above 10 mg.
These figures come from the NIH fact sheet and from Australia's regulator. They do not agree, which is part of the point. Nobody has proven a safe threshold for everyone.
Regulator reports
What have regulators reported about B6 and numbness?
Several agencies have raised the alarm.
- Australia, 2022. The regulator said neuropathy can occur below 50 mg a day.
- Australia, 2025. Reports reached 250 by October 31, 2025. Products over 50 mg a day become pharmacist-only on June 1, 2027.
- New Zealand, 2025. Five of six local reports involved a dietary supplement, often a lower dose taken for a long time.
- The Netherlands, 2018. In 90 reports, products held 1.4 to 100 mg per tablet, and harm below 50 mg could not be ruled out.
A 2023 systematic review of 20 studies found a mostly sensory neuropathy that improved after people stopped, and no proven safe threshold. Read our post on whether vitamin B6 can cause nerve damage for the wider picture.
The math
How much vitamin B6 is in NervoMax?
The label does not say. B6 sits inside the 600 mg blend with no amount. Blend ingredients run from most to least by weight, and five sit above B6. So B6 can be no more than one sixth of 600 mg. That is 100 mg per 2 capsules. The real amount could be far lower.
That ceiling is only a ceiling. It is not a hint of what is inside, and a ceiling equal to the U.S. upper limit is no comfort. The point is that nobody reading the label can place NervoMax on the chart of limits above.
Call the order desk at +1 (302) 200-3480 and ask for the B6 amount per serving in writing. If no number comes back, treat it as unknown. The full panel is on our Supplement Facts page.
Your total
How do you add up your vitamin B6 with NervoMax?
Four steps, with every bottle you take on the table.
- Line up every label. Include B-complex, multivitamins, magnesium, sleep or energy blends, and NervoMax.
- Write B6 per serving. Find vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) on each panel and multiply by the servings you really take a day.
- Add the daily total. Compare the sum with 12 mg (EU) and 100 mg (U.S. limit). Mark NervoMax as unknown.
- Check it with your doctor. Ask whether your total makes sense and whether a B6 blood test is worth doing.
Common sources of supplemental B6 include B-complex tablets, multivitamins and some magnesium tablets. Dutch reports on supplements found 1.4 to 100 mg of B6 per tablet. The NervoMax label says to take one or two capsules daily and not to exceed the dose.
