Is NervoMax Safe? Side Effects, Interactions and Who Should Ask a Doctor First
No study has tracked NervoMax side effects, so the only guide is its nine ingredients. The biggest question is vitamin B6, because too much can cause numbness and tingling and the amount is not printed. Ginkgo, green tea extract and cinnamon also carry cautions. Ask a doctor first if you take medicines or have a health condition.

Key facts
What are the key safety facts about NervoMax?
- No study of NervoMax has tracked side effects, so how often they happen is not known.
- Vitamin B6 in excess can cause numbness and tingling (NIH ODS, Vitamin B6). The NervoMax B6 amount is not published.
- Ginkgo can add to bleeding risk if you take a blood thinner like warfarin (NCCIH, Ginkgo).
- Green tea extract is linked to rare liver injury, mostly with concentrated capsules (NCCIH, Green tea).
- The label limit is 1 or 2 capsules a day. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
- The label asks pregnant or nursing mothers, children under 18 and people with a known medical condition to consult a physician first.
- Stop and call your doctor if tingling gets worse.
Ranked by concern
Which NervoMax ingredients raise the biggest safety questions?
We rank them from the one that matters most to the one that matters least.
Vitamin B6
Too much can cause numbness, tingling and unsteady walking (NIH ODS, Vitamin B6). The amount in NervoMax is not printed, so you cannot count it.
Ginkgo and green tea
Ginkgo may raise bleeding risk with blood thinners (NCCIH, Ginkgo). Green tea extract has been linked to rare liver injury (NCCIH, Green tea).
Salt, cinnamon, bacopa
Salt adds sodium (FDA, Sodium). Cassia cinnamon holds coumarin (BfR, Coumarin). Bacopa can upset the stomach (StatPearls, Bacopa).
Lutein and vitamin B12 are generally well tolerated. Bilberry leaf may be unsafe in high doses or with long use (NCCIH, Bilberry).
Most of these concerns are tied to doses larger than a 600 mg blend of nine ingredients could hold. Vitamin B6 is the exception, because its amount is unknown.
Vitamin B6
Can the vitamin B6 in NervoMax cause nerve problems?
It can, if your total B6 from every source gets too high. Excess B6 causes sensory peripheral neuropathy: numbness, tingling or burning in the hands and feet (NIH ODS, Vitamin B6). They match the symptoms named on the front of the bottle.
The daily need for adults is 1.3 to 1.7 mg. The U.S. upper limit is 100 mg a day and the EU's is 12 mg. Australia has seen cases below 50 mg a day (TGA, B6 alert 2022). B6 nerve symptoms usually improve after the B6 is stopped (Muhamad et al., 2023).
Because the B6 figure is not on the label, ask the order desk at +1 (302) 200-3480 for the figure per 2 capsules. Then add up your multivitamin, B-complex and magnesium products. Daley and colleagues reported magnesium tablets that held 60 mg of B6 apiece (Daley et al., 2023).
Interactions
Does NervoMax interact with medicines?
| Medicine | Ingredient | Concern |
|---|---|---|
| Warfarin and other blood thinners | Ginkgo | Higher bleeding risk (NCCIH, Ginkgo) |
| Nadolol, atorvastatin | Green tea extract | Lower drug levels (NCCIH, Green tea) |
| Diabetes medicines | Cinnamon | Blood-sugar effect unclear (NCCIH, Cinnamon) |
| Metformin, acid reducers | Vitamin B12 | These can lower B12; a blood test shows your level (NIH ODS, Vitamin B12) |
| Blood pressure or heart failure medicines | Himalayan pink salt | Extra sodium (FDA, Sodium) |
A 70-year-old on warfarin and atorvastatin could have two questions in a single capsule. A pharmacist should hear about both before the first dose.
Daily use
Can you take NervoMax every day?
The label allows it. It says to take one or two capsules daily with an 8 oz glass of water, and it says not to exceed the recommended dose. It gives no time of day and no limit on how many days.
Nobody has studied long daily use of NervoMax, so we cannot say how it behaves over months. Two points are worth noting for long use. Bilberry leaf may be unsafe with long-term use (NCCIH, Bilberry). Green tea extract liver cases usually began 1 to 6 months after starting (LiverTox, Green tea).
If you plan to take it for months, tell your doctor and raise it again at each checkup. Starting with one capsule halves your intake of every ingredient, including the unmeasured B6.
Who should ask first
Who should not take NervoMax without asking a doctor?
- Anyone under 18. The label says children under 18 should consult a physician.
- Pregnant or nursing mothers. The label says to consult a physician, and there is no safety data for this blend.
- Anyone with a known medical condition, which the label says should consult a physician.
- Anyone taking blood thinners, diabetes medicine, metformin, acid reducers or heart medicine.
- Anyone who already takes a B-complex or other product with vitamin B6.
- People with liver disease, or a low-sodium diet, or surgery coming up.
Before surgery, tell the surgeon you take it and ask when to pause, since ginkgo may affect bleeding (NCCIH, Ginkgo).
Warning signs
When should you stop NervoMax and get help?
If tingling, burning or numbness worsens or spreads, stop and ring your doctor. Stop if you notice a rash, stomach upset that does not settle, yellow skin or eyes, or dark urine.
Numbness with sudden weakness, confusion, slurred speech, vision changes or loss of bladder or bowel control can be a stroke or a spinal problem (MedlinePlus, Numbness).
Report a side effect to the FDA through its Safety Reporting Portal or MedWatch, and tell the order desk. Keep the bottle and note the lot number.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is NervoMax safe?
No study has tracked its safety, so the only guide is the nine ingredients. Most cautions apply to doses bigger than the blend could hold. Vitamin B6 is the open question because its amount is not printed. Ask your doctor first if you take medicines or have a condition.
What are the side effects of NervoMax?
Possible effects come from the ingredients: stomach upset from bacopa, bleeding risk from ginkgo, rare liver injury from green tea extract, and numbness or tingling from too much B6. How often they happen with NervoMax is not known.
Can I take NervoMax every day?
The label allows 1 or 2 capsules daily with an 8 oz glass of water, and it says not to exceed the dose. Long daily use has not been studied, so tell your doctor if you plan to take it for months.
Can NervoMax cause numbness or tingling?
It could, once your combined B6 from all products climbs too high (NIH ODS, Vitamin B6). The B6 figure is not on the label. If tingling gets worse, stop and phone your doctor, and bring the bottle.
Can I take NervoMax with a blood thinner or metformin?
Ask your doctor first. Ginkgo may raise bleeding risk with blood thinners (NCCIH, Ginkgo), and metformin can lower B12 over time (NIH ODS, Vitamin B12). Bring the bottle so your doctor can see every ingredient.
Are there side effects with nerve supplements in general?
Yes, and they differ by ingredient. The most important one for nerve products is too much vitamin B6, which can cause the symptoms people want to ease. Add up B6 across all your products and check each herb for medicine interactions.
Our view
Our view
Our view: NervoMax is not a high-alarm product, and it is not a risk-free one either. Its ingredients are mostly familiar and the blend is small. Its weak point is the hidden vitamin B6 amount, and that is a fair reason to slow down.
Do three things before the first capsule. Ask the order desk for the B6 amount. Add up the B6 in everything else you take. Show both numbers, and the bottle, to your doctor or pharmacist. If you are cleared, begin with one capsule and watch for any change in how your hands and feet feel.
NervoMax is a dietary supplement. It is not FDA approved, and no dietary supplement is approved by the FDA before sale. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. This page is general information, not medical advice. Ask your doctor about any medical question or symptom.
